Mark Cuban vs. Ted Cruz: The Full Twitter War

Sharing article image from here (by Gage Skidmore)

As you may and may not have known, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and Texas Senator Ted Cruz got into a little online tussle this week. Twitter Wars can sometimes be quite fun, so I decided to get the full chronology of their back-and-forth all in one place.

It all started with Cruz citing an article on the NBA’s low Finals ratings, a obvious, poorly-veiled jab at the NBA’s unrivaled empowerment of their players (and we know this because ratings are down across all sports, if Mr. Cruz cared to check).

Anyways, that was the kindling - now, enjoy the fire.

It seemed to be over, but then, an ironic tweet by Ted Cruz added a little extra juice.

A tweet that was followed by multiple retweets of articles that bent over backwards to to proclaim Mr. Cruz the winner of the exchange. Anyways, back to the main storyline.

Aaaaand that’s all so far. I had a pretty busy week this week, so I decided to do something a little more fun and lighthearted. If you haven’t already, please check out my latest (more basketball-focused) article here. Or don’t, I guess; it’s up to you anyways.

(although I would strongly recommend otherwise)
